Notes & Combos

Inspired by the lore of the mekk-knights I played last month I decided to play crusadia this month. Similar concept of making your opponent build their board only to be wiped out with lightning storm and kaiju, this deck actually relies on the battle phase so evenly matched is a no go. However don't fear the maxx c cause chances are if you don't otk that turn you probably lost anyway so go nuts. The only real handtraps that cause issues are effect veiler, moonlit chill, and nibiru which these cards are now on the rise so be careful if you decide to play this deck. Ash blossom can be played around with chain blocking(introduction to crusadia article has a good explanation on how to do it) and any trap is unusable thanks to red reboot so no need to fear imperm or labrynth decks. However a major issue with this deck is drawing the right cards for the specific deck you are dueling against. Upstart goblin is risky to put in since you are raising your opponent life points and triple tactic talents can't draw 2 cards immediately if you need to draw into a combo starter. The only real option is pot of desires but that has the drawback of banishing 10 cards which can lead to you banishing some of the cards you needed to draw into and unfortunately me drawing into bad hands was just common which just added on the tilt. Overall this deck was better than my mekk-knight run but be wary of bad hands since the core crusadia monsters are just basically normal monsters until crusadia equimax is on the field.

Master 3: Tearlaments just refuse to die. Played through maxx c and predaplant dragostapelia. Knew he was going to negate my equimax on summon so I try using crusadia spatha to move my monster in a zone equimax was pointing to so equimax can use it's negate effect on summon instead of waiting to summon a crusadia from the hand.
