Notes & Combos
Most of the guides are outdated because they include Fossil Dyna or the earth barrier statue, so I had to figure out some combos and synergies myself.
I built this deck with a more grind-heavy approach in mind, hence the larger Fiendsmith engine.
The winning strategy is to not burn all your resources on turn one. Rescycle your rock fusion monsters in turns, you don't want both in the grave/banishment at the same time, unless you play a second copy of Flux Ochsenfeld, but the ED space is very tight, so one copy each should suffice. Though you still have Rock Band Xenoguitar as a backup plan to return a rock monster from grave to hand/extra deck.
I had surprisingly many duels that lasted beyond turn two. If you go first and summon Wave High King Caesar with your FS engine, you can follow up with Desirae on the next turn. Flux Ochsenfeld can re-summon Koa'ki Meiru Guardian from grave, which is also a great follow-up, and if you manage to keep A Bao alive, she lets you mulligan your hand and can summon a dark or light monster from grave, like S:P, I:P or any FS card.
Pros
- Doesn't have any summoning locks
- Can play a lot of busted cards
- Many people don't know how this deck works
- End board is resilient against spoly
- If your opponent uses Impulse or Spark from hand against you, you have basically skill drain live by just summoning Conduction Warrior Plasma Magnum
Cons
- Some garnets are required
- Sometimes you draw too many monsters that need to be normal summoned
