Early M1 - Unchained Labrynth
Another season of Master Duel in the books, successfully wrapping up 58 with a quick Master I finish.
Essentially, I’m pretty much running back the same Unchained Labrynth list from last season. If you read that profile, you already know the philosophy here: Rejecting the premise of playing a passive, deeply attrition-based Lab as that's just more vulnerable to getting picked apart by the top grindy decks that are typically more immediately lucrative like Striker or Branded. Instead, aim for a higher-ceiling, more propulsive version to overrun opponents immediately and never truly enter the lengthy resource wars that those decks are adept at winning and thrive on.
That being said, the meta has shifted some, so I had to make a few small modifications here and there. A more noticeable one is that Harmonia is slimmed down. Right now, it’s just not doing enough into Dracotail, and it's not exactly the best tool when you're staring down something like Striker either. So while it's still powerful elsewhere in other matchups to warrant its stay, trimming it allowed me to reallocate resources for a more responsive build for the current ladder, and that worked out well this climb.
