Notes & Combos
At first, I was playing 2x Droll and 1 more copy of both Medius and Terminus. Ended up dropping those 4 cards and adding 2 Mourner & 2 Veiler.
Droll doesn't really stop this deck, but having monster negates and just having a higher likelihood of opening multiple HTs felt more important. Also, most Elfnote players are playing around Ogre & Harmonia, so these HTs ended up being effective to counter that counter-play.
I very rarely made it to the giga-combo endboard (again, because of the nature of this deck's popularity and the existence of so many HTs in the mirror match.
Thus, I'd say that Hyper Librarian was probably a waste of 30 UR CP lol. Same goes for 'normal' Stardust Dragon - I never once summoned it.
I was playing KT B2B and Packbit as the other Extra Deck slots for a while. B2B felt win-more, and Packbit most of the time ended up being just me going -1 in hand. So I decided to just cut it and only run the Malong and Wind Pegasus. I ended up adding in PEP and that came up a few times, but ultimately most of the 'fringe' cards in the Extra Deck didn't really come up at all.
Back to the point of rarely going full combo - I got Fuwa'd and Maxx C'd so many times that the majority of my endboards (if I was able to get there) were just Baronne + Rhapsodia + Regina in hand. And often times just being able to make June Pride was enough. It really just depends on how much you were able to play through, how few cards they have left in hand, and how many HTs you had in hand.
The deck does have pretty strong lines under Droll and under Fuwalos, but please Konami, ban the Maxx C.
PLEASE.
