Notes & Combos

The Rikka cards, Dark Magician, and the rest of the new pack are actually super interesting, but I haven't had the chance to try them out yet. Since I was in the middle of a grind to M1, switching decks just wasn't a good option.

Anyway, I can break down this grind into a few points and questions:

• What's next after the Phryxul ban? Tbh, I was genuinely surprised by how much impact this ban had. Without her, I find there's no need to play 3 traps or even sanctifire.
• Super Poly without a target? NGL, it's scary, especially against Blitzclique or decks like it. Maybe I'll get rid of Aeon for some Superpoly target.
• Is Aeon even good? And what about Mixousia? Mixousia is a fantastic card since it makes Faimena and Cartesia much more versatile. However, I almost never summon Aeon in any duel. I mean, sure, it breaks a fusion board, but I guess any Super Poly target will be better.
• Ty-Phon or Verte? TBH, I prefer Ty-Phon since there is no Sanctifire, so playing a card that can't help break boards doesn't feel worth it.
