Notes & Combos

I tried playing several Orcust decks and reached Master 3 — one win away from Master 2 — but then I fell back to Master 5 and couldn’t win anymore. The ladder was just a constant spam of Maxx “C” and Charmer, and I got bored. So I decided to return to the most resilient deck in the current meta: Maliss.

The decklist is the usual standard build. Allure of Darkness is great for drawing into useful cards, while Cynet Mining is risky but still a great card and works perfectly as a bait. I also run The Goddess, but I’ve basically never used her, so you can replace that slot with whatever you prefer.

What really surprised me was Tri-Gate Wizard — if you place it in the middle of the two Maliss Link monsters with an Allied monster pointing down, it becomes an amazing omni-negate. I really like this interacti
