Overview
Why Pure: Honestly Fiendsmith just feels troll, you either play a big engine and lower non-engine without the payoff of really helping the go second and lowering the extra deck flexibility. You could play the one engraver build but then you are adding a brick in hand and lowering ed favorability for ceasar which just isnt that impactful this format.
Why Fenrir: I dont like the card so really fought against playing it but in a deck with 18 non engine, it does sometimes singlehandidly win games on baord it also a free summon to make the power patron live more times if you draw.
Unpopular choices: 2 artmage vandalism assualt, one stardust and no crossout. Kept 1 theorealize bc it can be good if you normal power patron but too often felt going -1 just to get ashed or impermed/veilered anyways. Do want to be slightly careful around droll with vandalism but most hand play around it anyways so never ended up being a problem for me, and in games where you want to normal power patron can be good discard to set up accel stardust or omega plays. Stardust helps lines immenily into fuwa and can set up 1-2 interactions on opp turn while making a destruction negation and unnafected ED monster as well. You could play crossout but since this deck can self droll I just rather have more handtraps
Whats Cuttable: Maybe 1 Regina but I like 2 more of a personal preference. Could cut SP and legatia. I maybe made SP once but it can free up middle column sometimes which is nice. Couple of reasons to play Legatia some weird hands can make it, but more of a tech tool off of accell synchro or some weird situation you get nibbed, could test crimson dragon instead but since its pretty rare rn its more of tool that just randomly can win you a game.
