Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

Playing Ritual Beasts has been a lot of fun again. I had originally planned to switch over to Memento, but with Emergency Teleport now being unlimited, I decided to give the deck one more month. Unfortunately, I'm starting to feel a bit burned out on it, so I'll be moving on to either Branded or Memento for next month. However, I'm not done with Ritual Beasts yet, since they'll be back for the next Duelist Cup!

As for the decklist, there haven’t been many changes since last time. The plan was to replace the Impermanences and Purges with Super Polymerization, but after running into Mermail Atlantean, that idea quickly got scrapped. I actually wrote a Python program to help optimize the deckbuilding process, and it showed that the version I used last season was already statistically strong. So in the end, only a couple of adjustments were needed:

  1. -1 Accesscode Talker || It didn’t come up often and was dead after using Dominus Purge from the hand.

  2. +1 Ritual Beast Ulti-Reirautari || Makes it easier to banish a second Ulti-Reirautari with Rampengu instead of the single Ulti-Gaiapelio. This keeps both the Nibiru combo lines as well as the Ulti-Gaiapelio itself available for the grind game. Just be mindful: if you go for Archnemeses Protos, you’ll have one less LIGHT monster in your GY to banish, meaning one of your two Spiritual Beast Tamer Laras will be banished instead.

  3. +1 Book of Eclipse || The 40-card build was consistent, but going second, I rarely saw enough handtraps or boardbreakers. Bumping the deck up to 41 cards lowered the odds of drawing a full combo hand by less than 1%, but increased the chance of drawing at least two handtraps/boardbreakers by roughly 3.5%. It also helps to dodge Effect Veiler, Infinite Impermanence, Primite Drillbeam and even Nibiru, the Primal Being.
