Notes & Combos
NOTE: After talking about the deck with people from the MDM VS chat on Discord, I realize that the Horus Field Spell isn't a replacement for Small World since it cannot search for any cards outside of the Horus monsters.
Here is an updated list from the one I got my win streaks with a few days ago.
The list was good, but it struggled going second quite a bit, so I decided to introduce some handtraps back in.
2 Shifter and another Imperm were a no brainer. The role of the Horus cards is to support the VS plays, not replace them, so the confliction with Shifter does not matter too much. Shifter still wins games
I took out the Pot cards. Both of the pots conflict with Imsety and Borger, and while having to sacrifice the ED for digging into your deck is a good tradeoff, their downsides made them feel not worth running (Extrav only start of MP1, can't use Prosp after using Borger, Imsety or Extrav).
Brought Durendal back. The neutered Kash engine meant this card wasn't really worth running. Horus fixes this issue.
Decided to drop one of the field spells. It's a pretty good card, but I didn't need THAT much access to the Horus engine.
Along with all the other points I mentioned in the previous profile, Horus also helps with OTK lines under Nibiru, gives you fantastic follow-up if you have access to King Sarc, and it's a pretty good secondary engine to help you set up interruption/break boards if your VS plays get shut down.
S:P, Dempsey, Zombie Vampire, and the Charmers have not come up yet.
Dempsey is a card that you only make if you have exactly Panthera and Mad Love in your hand Turn 1. Beyond that, it's pretty much always better to turbo Zeus with Zoo. I'll be cutting it for the FK Rank 8 when it arrives.
S:P and the Charmers are mostly just a backup plan. Might cut them eventually for more XYZ plays.
Bagooska is still very good if you need an untargetable and indestructible Zeus setup.

Got a few more replays in since last time that showcase the strength of the engine.
