I cut Addition for the choice of starter between Mining or Small World. But without Nibiru in the deck, SW lines involvig Charmies are weak. So I settled for Mining. The Micro Coder synergy to search it does not come up much in sequencing, maybe if I play Inverted I can reap this more often. I'm fine with playing a smallest Mathmech monster package possible, so I didn't miss Addition. If I were to play more engine, I'd consider eXceed.

The Ignister cards are great! Pikari letting you push past your normal with A.I. Connect comes up a lot. The side arrow of Infant can come up to put Link Decoder next to it so you don't miss out on Decoder after you resolve Transcode revive. Infant can also trigger off Saber's GY effect to move itself if needed.

The non-engine was fine. I think Belle and Ash have a value going into KT, Branded, & Striker. Versus these decks, they can act as breakers if you resolve a charmy and force a half board. Though I've experienced a lot of Ash and Called By preventing that scenario, so it's easier said than done. Droll is not great but there is enough non-meta decks on ladder that fold to it.

Matchup Breakdown in Total (204 Duels; 97 Heads, 107 Tails)

Due to Tenpai/Striker/Mikanko influence: 100 Going 1st, 104 Going 2nd

  • 44 Kewl Tune (21.6%, W/R = 56%)
  • 26 Branded (12.7%, W/R = 57%)
  • 18 RT Zoo (8.8%, W/R = 44%)
  • 14 Elfnote (7.5%, W/R = 42%)
  • 12 Sky Striker (5.9%, W/R = 83%)

Honorable Mentions: 7 Enneacraft & Exosister, 6 Dracotail

I was worried about Conflict + Allied Code + Heatsoul + Superfactorial not being enough vs Branded but Conflict on Fallen of White is strong. This checks late Fallen of Albaz at EP (summoned off Titaniklad GY) and attempts at Super Poly with Fallen before it hits the field. Super Poly on the board is not that strong either, since you will have Superfactorial and Conflict live. Going 2nd, non-engine can only do so much because of Fallen & the Virtuous. You can force a halfboard with handtraps but FnV can beat weak hands that need a normal summon and check follow up like Crystal Heart. FnV dodging target negates like Imperm produces one of the biggest gaps since you have to deal with the 2nd copy. Overall, Conflict overperforms in the matchup so no need to change the endboard. The trouble is FnV makes it much harder to go 2nd.
