Notes & Combos

I started playing Elfnote with the Fiendsmith version, but I didn't really enjoy it. During the WCQ 1st Stage I decided to learn Branded instead.

For Master Rank and the WCQ 2nd Stage, this is the version I ended up using.

Small Branded engine:

• 1 Ecclesia
• 2 White Albaz
• 1 Fallen of Albaz
• 3 Fallen & the Virtuous

I cut Infinite Impermanence for Purulia because I was going second too often and needed more draws.

Sprind cleaned a lot of boards (especially against Kewl Tune). Sending it with Fallen & the Virtuous gives you a free Albaz in the End Phase, forcing a Super Polymerization line on your opponent's turn. Many games ended with my opponent surrendering after that interaction.

Elfnote is extremely versatile, and the Branded package gives the deck even more interaction. Just remember that this version has two important locks.

I reached Master 1 with this build.

I often opened Regina + White Albaz + 3 non-engine cards, so keep that in mind.

Remember: this deck has 2 locks.

1. White Fallen Albaz → Locks you into Level 8 Synchros and Fusion Monsters.
2. Welcome Home → Locks you into Synchro Monsters. If you activate it first, don't try to use the original Albaz Fusion line.

Also remember:

• Ecclesia is a Level 4 Tuner.
• Any Elfnote + Ecclesia = Baronne de Fleur.
• Fallen + Ash blossom = Seraphin

Going second, Ecclesia is usually your best starter because she Special Summons herself and forces interactions.

A line I used very often:

Ecclesia → Fallen → Ecclesia → Synchro → Special Summon Albaz → force the Fusion (even if it's negated) → start the Elfnote engine.

If Regina is your only Elfnote starter, Normal Summon her tributing fallen.

If you already have Welcome Home at hand, you can Tribute Fallen and start your Elfnote combo instead.

MVP cards:

• Ecclesia, the Virtuous in White
• Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon

Both won me a lot of games.

Other all-stars:

• Draco Berserker of the Tenyi (great interruption summoning with Accel)
• Black Rose Dragon (won me many games going second)
