The new Branded cards make Dracotail powerful again so the climb was easier this season. I played all 3 traps until M2 but then had several de-ranks from M2 to M3 because I lost the coin tosses or bricked going first and ALWAYS drew 1-2 traps in my opening hand. I got so sick of that, that I decided to cut horn for a second veiler, so I had more monsters to fuse with and more interaction on my opponents turn going second. Also my opponents very often played around horn and summoned their monsters in DEF until they removed it or forced me to activate it on my own monsters to at least draw 1, so it didn't do anything to win me the games. I won many games without even using it so the card felt like an unnecessary brick. And I have to say it worked well. I got fewer hands with a trap so I could play the game more often and never missed it on my endboard.
