Well, that happened. The new Branded cards dropped right before the WCS -- talk about a meta shakeup.
Luckily, I skipped Kewltune, so I was able to get the new cards quite quickly! But they elevate this once innocent deck so far that I'm actually scared to use it now because we're about to get Ketu and Mululu limited or something.
I didn't come up with the idea of using High Spirits, but after trying it, it's nuts. Kinda reminds me of Mitsurugi Prayers as an un-Droll-able advantage printer.
This deck feels good at going 2nd too, but there's some currently popular cheese like Enneacra(p)ft that's trying to hit you (and Kewltune) with Fissure, basically shutting down the entire deck. During particularly Fissure-prone sections of the climb, I swapped to Mitsu-Ryzeal and also experimented with Mitsu-Zoodiac -- Mitsurugi plays okay under Fissure.
