Notes & Combos
Shameless exact copy of Taro's deck minus the dark spirit's mastery, which I tried a little bit of, I didn't dislike it but wasn't really bricking either so I left it out for most of the climb.
It's a pretty hard deck, very easy to mess up your lines and instantly lose if you do.
Some tips: have the toolbox aspect of the deck completely ingrained in your mind. For example, ways to pop your own cards (zeus, queen, orthros, lance soldier, keplar (not pop but return) etc. And to trigger queen's ED effect you can zeus, lance knight GY effect, orthros, etc.
This deck is a lot of "I need to do X and there are like 5 ways to do X so what's the best way to get to X." For me at least this was a helpful mindset, since I'm fairly new to the deck.
Also Kali Yuga actaully clutched a lot of games. Surprising backrow decks and of course enneacraft is great. It's very obvious that most players have no idea what most of your cards do.
