Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

*** Submitted before banlist implementation, so don't ask me how this fares in the Bystial meta.

Please do not play this!! The climb was horrible. By the end, the only thing keeping me going was the need to complete the journey. I don't know what happened after the WCQ, but going second seems a lot worse than before. Or maybe I just had bad hands? I genuinely don't know how people play into some of these boards with a go-first deck that doesn't carry the board breakers that blind OTK decks do.

If you want to climb without a meta deck or some anti-meta floodgate turbo deck, just play 8-Axis or Numeron. Saw a few in M3-M2, so they must be working.

Some notes:

  1. A whole lot more stun decks than last season, so Red Reboot is back in. At 2x too - that should tell you how often I needed it.
  2. 3x Pot of Desires to try and reach deep for backrow destruction, etc.
  3. 2x Indigo because I realized the empty board OTK was more often on when people passed after I chose to go second. This is the classic one with Indigo attacking first from under Equimax, then shifting into one of Equimax's zones (or the other way round). Not 3x because I still want Blue and Purple for unique names to reduce HOPT wastage and because Blue is naturally preferable to Indigo in most cases (leaves a body on the field while searching Indigo).
  4. Same ED as before. Once again, Lib cannot be summoned in this list. I just keep her in there for World Legacy representation. Brute Enforcer just for the 2 arrows - nothing fancy. Only need 9-10 of the ED monsters.
  5. I really wanted to play Evenly Matched because of all the massive boards and stun decks everywhere, but this list has no midrange gameplan. I would encourage World Legacy enthusiasts to figure out a way to make the World Legacy engine reliable in this shuffler- and Shifter/Fissure-infested environment because Evenly solves a lot of problems going second.
