Notes & Combos

This is my first time reaching Master 1! i have had a long hard road with branded, i wanted the deck to be good ever since i made back last year when it was still terrible and then support was announced and i couldn't wait! still it has been a long time coming.

I wanted to explain my tech as a lot is standard but some is quite unique. First of all, lets address no swordsoul, shoutout to the branded goat MetagamesGX. He is the one that inspired me to cut swordsoul as a brick as i never felt like i needed and therefore made my deck more consistent. Second big change to most lists, NO NADIR. i know that it is a nuts card going second but that's what this deck is, the best chance at going second you can possibly have and you'll see that theme throughout.

Instead i played fusion deployment, shout out to Mr. Duels on YouTube confirming this cut. Fusion deployment is always live whether you go first or second and another way to get to OG albaz from deck and an extender when they ashed your main line.

The third big tech in my deck was Impulse. I know that this turns off all your lights but it did not matter! going second it gave me the best second hand trap, i cannot express how valuable this card was. Literally won me games going 2nd i for sure would not have otherwise. most of the time if i impulsed the right target, it ended the the opponents turn ON THE SPOT. And going first you simply set it and it is another end board piece which also won me games, overall i would have to say it was a major boon having it in my deck.

Finally, we get to the extra deck. My extra deck was again designed with the idea of making it as deep as possible which meant cutting the second Dogma, a tough but necessary choice as i absolutely loved having the Magistus Chorizo for breaking several boards. The Magistus allowed me to contact fuse against Enneacraft to free up space similar to alba lenatus. Also was the best super poly for Elfnote and finally i could use super poly against Kewl tune when i had a spellcaster on board to fuse with their syncros.

Borreload is a must with all the Fydraulis running around plus with starving venom you could use it and fydraulis to make Borrel. And starving Venom, one of the MVPs of my extra deck, Seriously he put in so much work, first when it came out it was a negate and then second it would pretty much be a second fusion.

Anyway, super happy that i finally made it! I'll update when i have recordings to share.
