Notes & Combos

The idea of this build is to maximize 1 card lines with a lot of gas to play through disruption.

Ostinato is the best starter here both going 1st and 2nd, since it will demand an immediate response from your opponent.

• If it resolves, you can potentially go full combo. The ideal endboard is 2-mat Apollousa, Arktos, Borreload Savage, and Silhouhatte Rabbit.
• If it gets handtrapped, that's one less handtrap the rest of your hand has to worry about. Ostinato also loves eating Ashes and Dominus Impulses when Refrain or Shinonome are already in my hand, and is also not once per turn.

Lightwurm's effects barely matter, but it's the only Light Tuner Lv4 Pendulum Monster that doesn't have any restrictions attached to itself, so it can be Pendulum Summoned from the hand under Couplet's light lock for Synchro plays.

• Ideally you want to go into Ignister Prominence to search your field spell via Majesty Pegasus, to later get it back with Exceed and normal Summon it to make Borreload Savage. Hojo is also Lightwurm's best buddy should you need to use it as a high scale.

Disablaster and Eccentrick are also Light and act as utility extenders when Bacha is negated by Imperm or Veiler.

Rabbit + Azurune are endboard pieces over the usual I:P simply because they perform better against Maliss, and they also double as a backup line should you get hit by Maxx C/Fuwalos.

The final addition to the list was Red Reboot (1 game into M2, actually), originally to combat Dominus Impulse and spot removal traps like Majesty of the White Dragons, it also performed very well against the Maliss traps on my turn. I also had one copy of Joker and Monkeyboard each to facilitate Solo Activation lines, but ultimately decided to swap them out for Disablaster and Eccentrick.

Overall very consistent list despite opening 1-2 garnets or dead handtraps multiple times, but can definitely be improved. I'm just glad I didn't have to add Pachy :)
