Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

This is basically QuantumMercury's decklist prior to the Empen limit. Decklist can definitely be improved upon. I made this deck when I first started playing 2 months ago with limited CP, so I wanted to reach Master 1 for the first time with it. Would have pushed last month if I knew Empen was going to get limited :(

Extra Deck does not matter as I never used my ED. You can add a Zeus line (Assembled Nightingale --> Downerd Magician --> Zeus) if you want. I just put in Accesscode Talker because I made it for another deck and saw Quantum win vs Blackwing Full Armor Master using it. Not even sure how I would summon it with this deck.

I switched between 2 stri/1 toccan & 1 stri/2 toccan a few times. You can try both and see which one works better for you.

Jack+Crow is for consistency, because this deck bricks a lot. Crow can win you games vs Tearlaments, but I mainly found myself banishing it with Advent of Adventure to get a Robina.

Weaknesses:

  • Hard/Impossible to play into Spright/Multiple Negate board going second.
  • Hard/Impossible to out towers such as Borrelend Dragon and Blackwing Full Armor Master.
  • Dies to Ash/Imperm (CBTG, Chain Blocking, and Book can help)

If you're new to Master Duel and Yugioh in general like me, this deck is a good option to get started if you want to climb the ranked ladder.

If you're new to the game or don't have SR/UR CP, you can make the deck cheaper by

  • Remove gold sarc (Makes the deck less consistent) (Sometimes u can also use gold sarc to chain block)
  • Only use 1 Unexplored Winds. Most people play 1
  • Remove D.D. Crow, some Floo list don't even run this anymore
  • Remove Dimensional Shifter (Basically autowin vs Tear if you have it in opening hand. Understandable if you don't want to spend 60 UR)

Cards you can take out if you want to change the deck:

  1. Dimensional fissure: Good going 1st card, terrible going 2nd card. If you lose the coin toss often, just replace this.
  2. Unexplored Winds and Dreaming Town to 1
  3. Book of Moon: Sometimes insane, sometimes useless
  4. Any combination of DD Crow out, Jack Out, Stri to 1. I'd advise against this because it hurts the deck's consistency.
