Poortron (Budget Drytron, without URs*)

I was a bit bored playing MD recently. Thus, I reminisced about the first few seasons of the game. In the first months after MD released, I decided to only play with the cards I pulled - no crafts allowed - and I had a blast playing a 60-card Mekk Orcust Shaddoll Danger pile.

So, I wanted to challenge myself this month again:

Could I reach Master 1 playing my current deck, Drytron, using (almost) no URs, being broke af?

Thus, Poortron was born.

The rules for the challenge were as follows:

• only N-SR cards allowed (with a few exceptions stated below)
• Mu Beta and Meteonis (both UR) would be allowed because there is no point in playing Drytron without those
• I could use URs if they were 'cheap', meaning: As long as a UR is either free or easily accessible I could use it. This means that Legacy Pack, Structure/Starter Deck and generally free cards (like Raigeki or Reborn) were allowed, too.

Because space is limited, here are possible responses to questions you might have:

• Yes, this deck is not that good
• Yes, I am crazy for playing Drytron in Droll format
• No, you do not need to run every common staple UR in every deck, I am tired of hearing those takes and that abundance of skill issues. This deck should show you that.
• The first URs I'd add here if I had the choice would be Zeus and Linkuriboh/Anima. Those would immediately buff your deck substantially. Then I'd look at some good link 4 or a staple like Droplet.
• No, Diviner and Beatrice are not mandatory. Yes, they are good - still, not absolutely needed.
• I forgot to try Choju for the fourth time now (I just remembered it again)
• Most of the ED is quite worthless, but luckily, there were still some solid cards to use like Lyna (goated with the sauce btw), Dyna, Mirage, Equimax, Bagooska...
• My first attempts for this challenge were Megalith Drytron lists. There, I used Bagooska and cards like Utopia Double much more.
• Vanity's Ruler is the GOAT. I started the challenge without Ruler on purpose (he is a Legacy UR after all), but I nerfed myself enough already and people run around with Droll, SHS, Barrier, Branded and more...so, I decided later to let them see Ruler's smug face. Ruler is the main reason why Drytron is not completely *** in MD. He is your insurance into Maxx "C". He gives you a shot going 2nd, too.
