Notes & Combos
Hi to everyone guys, this season i decided to give a try to a deck i never played before in TCG/MD which i always wanted to try at some point since i like control decks/trap decks, Dinomorphia. After the release of the Secret Pack with the new support "Dinomorphia Intact" i built it and started to climb from D5 to M1. I learned the deck in the hard way just playing it and switching builds, in the end from like M4 to M1 i played mostly this list, was a pretty smooth climb honestly. Talking about the list itself i think in the EX the only missing card is PEP but i decided to cut it since i was never summoning it considering i was only on Ash as a Lv 3 tuner. If you play more lv 3 HTS you can play it for sure, i summoned every other card in this EX during the entire climb, even though laggia and dolkka didn't come up often. About the Main deck instead, i feel like Droll, Shifter and Maxx c are mandatory to respect mostly SHS and they are good against Mannadium, Branded and other combo decks in the format. Ash is always needed for Branded and Lab and is decent against everything as always. As you can see i didn't play Imperm because i didn't feel it was necessary but you can play it if you want, you can also consider Nib if you play Imperm but i don't think you can cut much from this list, if you play an Handtrap approach the consistency cards like Fossil Dig are just good, maybe just trap trick and duality are cuttable but i'm not sure, having 16 consistency cards in a 40 card deck is nice. Strike is mandatory to protect you from ash/to break boards going 2nd, with 3 intacts is like playing 6 strikes but even more since you have therizia which can set intact when needed. The rest is core.
Anyways guys i enjoyed a lot playing this deck, i'll keep playing it moving forward for sure, was fun and honestly also good, i think this deck is very underrated tbh, Rexsterm is a powerhouse, if you stick him on the board you just win the game so should not be underrated this much. This deck also demands a lot of knowledge of the format and the deck itself, if you think this is a brainless deck you are just wrong, i suggest you to give it a try, if you want a good trap deck with space for skill expression and good technical play this is a possibility other than the obvious Labrynth deck.
To finish this post, also i want to thank all the guys in the Discord's Dinomorphia Channel, who helped me and where my curiosity on trying this deck began. A special thanks to Feeb 3>
