Notes & Combos

First time reaching Master 1. Woo!

The deck feels inconsistent sometimes. Sometimes you don't draw a starter at all. Sometimes you draw just 1 and ash stops you. As a result, lamia + extrav feel necessary to me. I like adding extra copies of a lamia a bit more than aramasa. If you start with lamia and get interrupted somehow, aramasa can still be available later for non-standard combos. When Habakiri goes to 2 though, I probably will add a third aramasa.

Handtraps were a little difficult to decide on. I bounced back and forth between imperm and droplet. Some endboards were getting pretty crazy, so I went with imperm to prevent them from happening. I didn't use droll because I didn't have much luck against VS K9 with it and in most matchups it didn't feel strictly necessary. Plus droll is a little awkward when you go first with mitsu because it will turn off your revives on your rituals and hurt your follow-up. For charmies, I preferred fuwa because I didn't have space for more than 3 and purulia felt either the same or worse outside of VS K9.

Combos aren't too complicated. Just remember to do prayers + tribute in draw phase. Learned that the hard way a couple of times.

As for the extra, code igniter, Zeus, and Typhon never came up. Exciton very rarely. Everything else was pretty useful. Especially Selene snapper which surprised me.

Kinda new at this so I'm not sure how valuable my perspective is, but I'll answer any questions if people have any. I just really like mitsu. It's the meta deck I've had the most fun with in recent memory.
