Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

The new dark magician support is so ridiculous that if you open diabellstar + any mitsugrugi engine you basically auto win.

The reason we play this with Mitsurugi is because deception tributes for cost. This means that if you open any diabell card + any ritual monster/aramasa you get full mitsurugi combo + dragoon + azamina silvera which ends up being 7-8 interruptions + followup.

Sample combo: Diabell + Any ritual monster:

Summon Diabell -> Set Deception -> Activate Deception

Summon DMoD -> Search Gaze -> Activate Gaze -> Summon Dragoon. You now have an omni to protect combo.

If monster is habakiri: Haba eff -> Saji -> add Mitsu ritual -> use Deception tributing Haba -> add Hallowed -> Activate Haba in the GY -> add Murakumo

If monster isn't habakiri: Use Deception to tribute your ritual monster -> add Hallowed -> Activate ritual monster in grave to add Haba -> Haba effect -> Saji -> add Mitsu ritual

Either way, you now have 1 ritual in GY, 1 in hand, mitsu ritual, and hallowed.

Activate Mitsu Ritual (Hand) -> Send Kusanagi + Aramasa -> CL1 Kusanagi targetting mitsu ritual (to play around ghost belle), CL2 aramasa adding any monster -> Activate Mitsu Ritual (Deck) (Note: Do not summon monster you have already tributed for the cost of deception) -> Send ritual monster on field -> Activate effect in GY to add Mitsu mirror and resummon

Activate Mitsu Mirror, either summoning the monster you originally tributed in GY or the one you added to hand with Aramasa -> Send ritual you haven't tributed yet -> Activate ritual monster eff in GY to add prayers to hand.

You should now have all 3 ritual monsters + dragoon on field and prayers + hallowed azamina + another ritual monster in hand.

Activate Hallowed Azamina -> Summon Mu -> Search Wanted -> Link off Mu + Mitama into i:p -> Hallowed in GY to return to hand -> CL1 Hallowed, CL2 Wanted -> Add Diabell -> Summon Silvera -> Banish Wanted in GY to draw 1 -> xyz Murakumo + Habakiri for Photon Lord -> Set Prayers

End Board: Dragoon omni, Silvera omni, Photon monster neg (detatch Murakumo), ip + photon for sp 2 banishes or dyna, prayers summon murakumo raigeki + hand rip/negate + 7 cards in hand.

This combo does not need your normal summon, and does not activate prayers, so depending on your whole hand you can often do even more than this. Lines where you start with habakiri can also end with purification.

You could add two more deception if you want. In K9 format I wouldn't run any other non engine cards.
