Notes & Combos
Lowkey Lunalight has gotten a lot stronger due to this season's meta developments. The two decks that used to consistently out 2 Ligers, Maliss and Ryzeal, have fallen out of relevance. In a bo1 format, we have a decent matchup against the 3 most popular archetypes - Yummy, VSK9 and Dracotail. Maxx C going to 1, Purulia being favored over Fuwa, and Retaliating-C's decline in popularity - these overall developments in handtraps are all favorable for this deck.
Ladder is filled with VSK9 and K9 variants in general, Purulia has gotten me a lot of value going 1st and 2nd. Heavy Poly has also been really good. It punishes K9 cards and Holy Sue playing on your turn + not a lot of meta decks run omni/spell negates. If I were to change anything, I'd probably slot in Book of Eclipse since it sounds very strong against the popular decks this format. There is also the option of slotting in Nibiru and replacing Evilswarm Nightmare with Gallant Granite since I haven't been getting a lot of value from Nightmare anyway.
Overall, Lunalight still very strong. Always play around Droll. Chainblock with Leo going 2nd. Heavy Poly is the GOAT. Summon 2 Ligers, win game (most of the time).
