Notes & Combos

The goal of this deck is to achieve vicotry by deck out by using Runick spells to banish the top cards of the opponent's deck, while using continous effects to prevent the opponent's attacks and effects.

Main Deck

• Majesty's Fiend has a continous effect that prevents all monster effects from being activated. It does not negate continous effects, so Hugin can still protect from destruction while this effect is applied. It can be normal summoned by tributing 1 monster, which is usually Hugin after searching for Fountain. The most common counter to Majesty's Fiend is Impermanence, which is usually used on Hugin instead to prevent Fountain. Using the search effect of Hugin and Tip in the draw phase will prevent Veiler and Droll.

• Sky Striker Mecha - Eagle Booster is used to ensure that Fountain can be added by making Hugin unaffected by other card effects for the rest of the turn. This can also make Hugin unaffected by Skill Drain and Called by the Grave so that the destruction protection effect can be used.

• Messenger of Peace and Synchro Zone are used to prevent the opponent's attacks. This can be useful when going second after the opponent has summoned many high attack monsters to prevent Majesty's Fiend from being destroyed by battle.

• Sphere Mode can be normal summoned to the opponent's field by tributing 3 monsters on their field. This can be useful for removing the opponent's monsters when going second. Duster is also useful when going second for removing the opponent's spell and trap cards, since Destruction is limited and there are many continous spell/traps and field spells that can destroy cards every turn (such as Labrynth Labyrinth, Branded Beast, and Primitive Planet Reichphobia).

• Upstart improves the consistency of the deck by effectively reducing the amount of cards in the deck, however, it can allow the opponet to use Droll. To prevent this, use Hugin to discard Upstart in the draw phase to search for Fountain.

Extra Deck

• Chaos Angel can be summoned using Majesty's Fiend and Geri, which gives it both effects.

• Linkuriboh can be used to remove Dark Angel (which would otherwise make a hand of only spell cards useless) and Jurraegg Token. Those monsters can also be tributed for Majesty's Fiend.

• Azalea can be used to destroy a card, and usually is sent to the GY which clears the extra monster zone.

• Lyna can use any monster as link material, and can potentially be used to summon Azalea.
