Notes & Combos

I made this deck at the start November after the hits to Ryzeal, so I've had a bit of time to get used to this deck. I wasn't going to make Onomats to make Ryzeal viable again, and I didn't feel comfortable playing Ryzeal Mitsu with Ext to 1 (I mean, bros would play nightsword serpent, node, star, cross, kusanagi, the mitsu trap. Opening just saji is a death sentence. You open any 2 of those and handtraps turn 1, and I dunno how you'd keep your sanity), so I said ***** it. If I'm gonna play bricks, I'm gonna play bricks that I like, in a deck that will care way less about drawing them.

Fiendsmith + a normal summon lvl 4 = Mitsu lines

Mistu combo = fiendsmith, simple stuff

I then added Kashtiras to really give the deck more bark. Unicorn has to go to 1 or be banned, but like... Ripping out the one of White Binder is so peak XD. There were times where I should've lost, but ripping out key ED cards is so demoralizing that they scoop not knowing that I don't have a lot of gas left.

This deck is not trying to mimic the TCG Fiendsmith Kash Bystials stuff that tried to play low to the ground. The best this deck can do under maxx c is like... Unicorn + Birth + Requiem, and whatever handtraps and backrow you got. Though this deck can utilize self droll when you go to fiendsmith lines.

This deck's best strength? Beating half boards. We have a lot of gas, and a lot of baits. This also means turn 1, as long as it isn't maxx c or a charmy, we are generally good to combo off past 2-3 handtraps.

The future of this deck? It's gonna be alright as long as they don't ban any Mistu cards, but Yummy is around the corner and I want to make my Mistu investment count. Next month this deck is gonna get shelved, but like I said I have a lot of experience with this deck and I did get to m5 last season (I didn't report it) so if you have any questions, like ED choices or specific brick inclusions, feel free to ask!
