Notes & Combos
The climb from M5 to M1 has probably been my smoothest ever. Went 21-3 and had a 12 game win streak in between.
After having played a more breaker-heavy list up until M5, I noticed that Impulse - more often than not - is an absolute menace and should undoubtedly be part of this deck. Ash however, still hasn’t earned its spot as its sole argument is to counter maxx c or Fuwa. I prefer, thrust and heavy poly as they are far more impactful going second.
Lastly, I wanna point out the importance of searching nib off of gallant granite throughout you combo. Specifically decks like Maliss and onomat ryzeal manage to put up monster protection fairly easy by making cyberse wicckid or light dragon @ignister. They essentially lose their entire purpose if you just tribute them off with nib. That way, liger will still be able to wipe a bunch of monsters later on.
Ps: If you deliberately play into droll, you deserve to lose. :) Most hands will still allow you to make one liger. As you may know, dugares is timeless and will help you get there even without a monster in grave at activation.
