Notes & Combos

First and foremost, this deck dies to Maxx "C" and Shifter. It is good enough to reach Master 1, but it wasn't an effortless climb.

The list is far from optimized. That Stardust Charge Warrior should be a Tri-edge Master, but I wasn't convinced that it was needed until I realized that a Tri-edge Master is light and I could make an unaffected from activated monster effects and field battle destruction protection Chaos Angel using it plus a Geri. That could have won me a few Kashtira matches.

You can argue that the second Regainged is too much and I should be playing Branded Beast instead but I feel that recycling my Runick fusion was more important than a pop. Talking about runick fusions, I've seen some lists playing only one Hugin and slotting a Golden Cloud Beast Malong, which is a good addition, but I can't see me playing optimally with one hugin, so I would drop Hieratic Seal for it.

Lastly, I want to talk the absolute unit that is Borreload Furious Dragon. It has a interesting interaction with Geri because, since Geri cannot be destroyed by card effect you get to pop for free every turn. Also, Furious Dragon can be summoned two ways, one is using Duality on Bystial Lubellion and the other is the funny one, you can use Cartesia effect to fusion summon it using two Dark Bystials. Summoned this way, even if they out it you can still banish it and then special summon it to your field through Dis pater effect.

One thing that I didn't know about Bystial Dis Pater is that it can actually interact with face down banish cards, so you can always recover Runick Fountain if it ever gets banish.
