Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the DevTools window => Navigate to the Console tab in the window => Paste the export code => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code, then if you're on mobile look for the *globe* icon and tap on it to run the code (Chrome only), for PC users just hit enter.
  4. The deck will save automatically
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

M5 -> M4 (insta-derank) -> M5 -> M1

Nothing really changed from my climb to M5 this season.

I did summon Exciton once; however, I was going to lose the game anyways, so if you have anything you feel would be better, I'd slot them in. I've been kind of thinking about adding a second ZEUS.. but that would only come up really if I get into a grind game against Ryzeal (which is difficult to start with given how every card is just another free card).

Speaking of ZEUS, the Zoodiac package has been fantastic against Ryzeal. If they let me stick 2 4s going second, as long as their backrow isn't a negate/pop (which happens more often than I'd expect), you can at least clear the field even if they have the field up. From there, you can set some backrow and get a chance to try to play in the following turn.

Still torn on Purge. It can be a great card until it isn't. It also removes some of your strongest ED options as well. If I removed it... I'm not sure what I'd want to add in.

  1. Going second against Centur-Ion/Bystial (3 Torrential - t7ek!nG)
  2. Going second against Ryzeal (3 Ash - taka) Probably should have used Ogre on Duo Drive, but I wasn't super focused on the game, so I thought they were doing the attach effect. Also didn't use both of ZEUS's effects back to back since I was like, wait, why didn't they try to pop him, forgetting about Plugin.
