Now that both maliss and ryzeal are out, choosing what non-engine to play is much harder than before. M2 to M1 was a struggle to play, because every single game was either maliss or ryzeal and you need to have so many handtraps to actually stop them if they go first.
I took out the impulses from my M5 list they just don't do enough vs ryzeal, unless you can pair them with an imperm which you activate before. Droll on seventh ascension/tachyon is probably your best hope of stopping ryzeal. I tried the purulias too, but it just felt like they don't do anything unless you're specifically playing vs ryzeal. Fuwa is okay-ish vs ryzeal if you can chain it to ice effect.
In the extra deck i added in the lyna since im playing nibs and veilers so i can steal detonator or something else to extend into promethean princess when my opponent doenst have anything but lights in grave, took out the masquerena as she only came up when i had completely undisrupted combos. The amblo is still good. You could play more Hyangs, princesses and typhons in the extra deck for extravagance, but i'm too poor and cheap to craft them.
Overall the deck definitely has consistency issues and often times either bricks or gets stopped by a single handtrap but it's backed up by a lot of non engine and has excellent recursion. You can beat any deck if you take them to the grind game.
