Shoutout to the guys who did again help me to stay sane and improve the playing in now season's 44 Maliss and Ryzeal format!

I tried my deck from the previous season with the 48 cards and I also did try 60 cards. The issue with Ryzeal now being around is Super Polymerization not being as powerful as in the previous pure Maliss format. The Ryzeal board is to be broken by Super Polymerization as well, but they are able to recover better than Maliss can. Ryzeal Plugin gets them Detonator back, whereas against Maliss one did remove Apollousa, while also being able to remove 3 bodies through summoning Predaplant Triphyoverutum.

Lancea is not main decked anymore as its only of use against Maliss and therefore ending up a hurtful brick in other matchups. Now it is time again to play Forbidden Droplet. Also I did add 3 copies of Mulcharmy Fuwalos & Purulia. Purulia resolving against Ryzeal hurts them a lot, while against Maliss you can be able to get two draws of it as well (Normal Summon and March Hare hand effect summon).

Purulia is so to be used as soon as possible to secure the draw of the opponent's normal summon.

So compared to the previous 48 cards version you are going to add 3x Fuwalos and 3x Purulia and also 1x Neighbor's grass is greener, since you are almost at 60 cards so you are surely getting a useful mill of it.

I decided to stop playing 2x Branded Retribution and added 1x Branded Sword instead. Most use cases with Branded Sword were adding a banished Mercourier to hand, which is extremely valuable for building follow up.

Playing against Ryzeal I figured the best way to deal with them is removing their bodies. Ext Ryzeal is going to send Mereologic Aggregator to target your Mirrorjade or Quem most likely, in almost all situation I did use either effect to either banish or summon Fallen of Albaz to fuse with Ryzeal Ext into Albion the branded dragon and continuing from there.

Your best Mercourier negation target against Ryzeal is Sword Ryzeal, to hinder them add generating more bodies for the XYZ summoning.

Ryzeal also forces you to really think about using effects, e.g. Saronir getting destroyed and triggering its GY effect. Sometimes its better to skip using those and having a Body left on field for your next play.
