Notes & Combos
Howdy! God this season sucked. Once you get to m2~ it starts to feel like every game is against either the mirror or something like odion or vsk9 on shifter/ariseheart, decks that counter us on a whim, it sucks a lot to have to deal with **** like that, but as it is with md ladder you just have to brave the climb, I tried playing some maliss for a bit to cool off and it helped a fair bit.
FAQ.
"Why is silvera there?"
if you are like omega bricked and you for some reason have fuwa and clip in hand you can use them to make silvera as disruption, the spot itself is a flex spot though (Alongside second b2b, ty-phon, and baronne)
Some other cards that could go into these slots are chaos angel, third track maker, second loudness war, sp, ect. The ed is pretty flexible.
"Why Amritara?"
Its primarily to help with weirder synchro math, especially going second when you want to go up into b2b as its materials can sometimes be hard to get all on field without running through both track makers, plus! It helped a lot with building boards, ending on something like b2b with zalen in grave with 1-2 set kts and reframing felt very strong, especially considering you'd have something like 3 whole omni negates using that endboard
"Okay but why do you also have reframing?"
It felt pretty good in hand when hard drawn going first, making the half board a bit more insulated, during grind games it can prevent them from getting ahead of you. Plus it was a freebie if you got to combo off which felt really nice.
"Why no super poly?"
I just felt like I needed more regular non-engine the higher I got, its been a lot more kt hate than actual kt at a point so spoly just felt kinda bricky
"Why no pot of avarice/ghost ogre/whatever other non-engine?"
Its up to you! The non-engine in this deck past a point is extremely flexible! only real needs I'd say would be ash, veiler, and belle, I was only running 2 of each but I was very happy whenever either would show up, play whatever you want to see, draw power and other power spells feel nice, but they're not tuners. And the psy frames are very strong but they give you an unusable brick as we never really need to discard so it just kinda stays in your hand staring you down.
Fuwa specifically I'm kinda back and forth on, it might just be this meta, generally fuwa just feels bad in hand even when it resolves due to the mass amount of decks that end on really solid half boards while only giving 1 or so draws (Like Kewl tune)
