Prerequisites

  • A registered Konami ID linked to your master duel game
  • Must login to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB using the same Konami ID
  • If the Yu-Gi-Oh! DB website asks to login with Game Card ID just click "I don't have a game card ID" and fill some basic information to proceed

Export Guide

- Via the MDM extension (Recommended): Download on Firefox, or Chromium Browsers
For Chromium browsers (Chrome/Edge/Opera/Brave...etc) just click "Add to chrome" on the store page and it'll work on most if not all chromium browsers.
After using the extension, go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

  1. Click here to copy the export code
    2.
  2. Go to Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards DB and click My Deck => Add a Deck
  3. Once the deck page loads click Edit then do one of the following based on the platform your device is running:
    • (PC Only): Press F12 to open the browser console => Paste the export code there => Hit Enter
    • OR (Other platforms/PC): In the address bar of the current tab remove the URL and type "javascript:" without the quotations then paste the export code and hit Enter
  4. Save the deck
  5. Go to the Master Duel game => Main menu => Deck option => The Card database option at the top right corner => locate the deck you exported and copy it

Notes & Combos

About the final climb

Volcanics are so nostalgic to me so I wanted to use them in my deck. Also, pyro is my favorite type, so I really wanted to get to Master I again with it.

I think I ranked down twice during the master climb, from Master III to IV, and IV to V, and almost ranked down twice while in Master II haha It was scary. I lost the coin flip more than won and, when I won, I bricked sometimes, but managed to pull off the "FTK" 3 times at least today. xD Won a lot of games going second.

I'm a mediocre snake-eye player. I have a lot to learn about my deck and about the game in general, but snake-eye is so strong and carried me sometimes. haha

Had some really weird matches, like bricked labrynth and stun, when I was also bricked. Faced tons of mirror matches.

About my deck list

The first volcanic snake-eye list I saw was on Lithium's channel. He ran two rimfires, two troopers, and volcanic blaze accelerators, but I dislike decks low on hand traps, because of the frustration of losing the coin flip, so I did my best to play as many hand traps as possible, including veiler and nibiru as crossout targets.

Cerberus is the main line to play around super polymerization and droplet, but Geonator is important to otk when you can't send Rimfire to the graveyard, for example, when Trooper is in your hand, you discard it by witch or Barricadeborg Blocker. You don't need to use spoils to get rimfire, in this case, in order to perform the otk, because geonator can do it. Or maybe you don't have a card to discard for cerberus' effect.

I play only one rimfire and one trooper to minimize bricks. If they are in your hand, specially trooper, you can discard it by the effect of witch, one for one, or Barricadeborg blocker. So, I ended up playing all three Cerberus, Barricadeborg and Geonator, in onder to have many options to FTK and don't have to worry when Trooper or Rimfire is in my hand.

Princess is so important and Kashtira Unicorn might be a threat, so I run two princess.

Sunlight wolf and Heatsoul weren't that useful. Maybe I should cut them to open room for Zealantis and something else, like Dharc/Accesscode Talker/Selene. I have to make room for Zealantis somehow, but I just suck playing it that I even didn't miss it. XD

I'm looking forward to play Horus, Fire king and other upcoming cards useful for pyro decks. I'll be playing them for a long long time, specially volcanics. See you. :D
