Notes & Combos
Petition to make Lord of the Heavenly Prison show up as engine (Come on, you made zealandis and formula synchron an engine, why can't LotHP be)
Trap heavy Lab is still a very rare version for some reason.
` WHY THIS OVER HANDTRAP LAB?`
You ignore most handtraps this deck doesnt die to ash unlike handtrap labrynth. Your not as reliant to your welcome cards going through. You can setup an agruably more powerful endboard. Cons? No handtrap means if going 2nd, you're usually at the mercy of whatever board they make, if it snake eyes then its not a problem to break, but some decks will be a nightmare to go 2nd against. Arias + removal trap card is huge in this scenarios.
We are now forced to play the furnitures because rollback is such a good card. And it's even better in this build because of the ammount of different trap cards you can copy. Having them negate evenly and having rollback in grave to activate it again is a heavenly feeling.
Arias also benefits here. More trap, means more chances you can have a turn zero trap card play (although on my run I only did it twice, one with daruma and another with torrential).
Also, noteworthy mention, foolish burial goods > dump rollback. you can also use it to dump any trap card for Lovely to recycle.
The slight problem I have though with playing the furnitures, arias and rollback, is that there's so much higher chance of bricking now. Unlike before when activate LotHP set 4-5 pass is a typical oppener, now you get hands where you have fewer interruptions than usual.
No D barrier, not enough branded to justify it. I tried Simul Archfiends (vs link decks) but I didn't really see it go off that often. So I used double Ice Dragon's Prison instead, so I can seach it with Trap Trick.
Rivaly is almost auto win vs snake eyes.
No hand traps means we are at the mercy of our opponents endboards. But this is a relatively okay meta for set 5 strats, thank god purrely is not that popular. I only faced one and won it going 2nd. You also need to watch out for the increased usage of evenly matched, but we can sometimes play around it.
STATS: imgur.com/a/2aAuaoT Played M5-M1 in the last two days of the season.
