Notes & Combos

Standard List for a trap heavy lab deck but with a touch of some flood gate cards that wins games by themselves when I get them as first turn. I tried different variants of lab but trap heavy worked best for me against SE and R-ace since they're mostly the ones I faced on M2. Maybe this is the only lab deck without transaction rollback but I didn't feel the need for it.

Note that Lab doesn't need to win in turns 1-3.

  1. R-ACE
  • I try to reserve my disruptions for Turbulence as they're mainly reliant on the traps and spells it puts to their board.
  • I tend to focus using Dogmatika Punishment to take down Turbulence + 1 monster/set spell/trap before it casts since its effect is not a quick effect. In case you get delayed on the setup, keep in mind that they have EMERGENCY! for removing Turbulence from the board after casting effect to avoid disruptions.
  • If you know you can pop or spin Turbulence on your turn, sometimes its better to just flip it down first with Daruma since they might be able to get it back on the field with Promethian Princess.
  • Thats mainly it, I reserve my all for not letting Turbulence get its effect out
  1. Snake-Eyes
  • Knowing the choke points of SE will help you a lot.
  • Upon summoning Diabellstar, you can cast punishment on it but it will still get to set the Sinful Spoil spell which you will destroy with Elder Entity.
  • Imperm is usually used for Snake-eye Ash or Poplar. Other disruptions will still let them cast their effect.
  • Keep in mind that their field spell won't trigger unless you do a summon. Sometimes you can just pop it first with your stuff before doing summons to lock IP Masquerena as continous spell and Flamberge will be their only way to get it out by then.
  • Promethian Princess can't be casted against Lady while you have a set trap
  • Take note that they will keep on being able to get Linkuriboh on the board as long as they have a 1 star monster on the field, to mess up your battle phase.
  • Remember those Link Summoned with Masquerena won't be popped, but Daruma will remove em easily.
  1. Mikanko and Purrely
  • Just get your Daruma out with Lady and maintain having it all the time on the board during enemy's turn and its always GG by then. Free win.
