Notes & Combos

Climbed from Master 5 up to 1, using synchro branded based on Pulover's great decklist, check it out as well. I made a few adjustments since Rescue-Ace, Mikan-ko Armor, Purrely has been appearing in my matches. MVPs are Baron, Seal, quem, high spirits, Imperm, and Anaconda.

+3 Imperms: Stops Purrelyly and snake eyes ash, overall a great going 2nd card. I don't play effect veiler, because of the possibility of my opponent using triple tactics to hand rip me or draw the 2 cards to make my negation negligible.

+1 Harpie: Checks Rescue Ace, especially if you hit their field spell along with their 4 backrow. Mikan-ko, snake eyes and, to a lesser extent, Kashtira has a hard time recovering if you resolve this.

+2 Chaos space: adds Lubellion, you can dump Albaz or shrouded Albaz. Use a bystial or fusion effect to banish Lubellion in order to get a draw from chaos space gy effect. This card and Branded in high spirits fixes your hand and makes you can thin out your deck to draw a nibiru or hand trap, which can act as an insurance.

+1 Sanctifire: I mostly use this card to interrupt my opponent from reviving their own monsters, I summon their monsters on my field and just give them a monster that they will have a hard time utilizing.

+1 luluwalilith: it came up once or twice. I only summon this card using granguignol's effect if quem is already on the field, especially if I am confident that my Quem can use her 2nd effect uninterrupted. You can manually trigger the negate via high spirits, mirror jade. Although I found more value in giving every monster a 500 atk boost than the negate. You can replace this with a Quaer or Proske, or any other Albaz fusion.

If for some reason that you only start with Lubellion and Cartesia, with 3 hand traps/non combo pieces. You can use Lubellion to get aluber, summon aluber then Cartesian, fusion to Albion then banish aluber and Lubellion to make titaniklad. Link off the two dragons to summon Seal(summon an Albaz or magnum), and then used the two dragon to summon quem dumping Albaz or cartesia and then set a retribution or branded in red. The cards you set or dump depends if you have a dragostapelia or chimera on your extra deck.

Worst match up I had was kashtira. Since the extra deck is so tight, and I used almost every card, 1 effect from Unicorn or Ogre is disastrous. Not to mention Arise heart locking your graveyard usage. Pray that your hand traps/ interruptions will be enough to slow them down.
