Throne becomes really powerful with the yubel monsters. It doubles both as a 1 card protection/negate or a kepler searcher if needed.
Bringing out phantom ensures you have a pseudo negate to protect your combos.
- It doesn't play into droll, and even allows you to negate droll if you wish once phantom hits the field
- Searching kepler with throne plays into droll, unfortunately
- If the protection is not used, then yubel becomes an active disruption endpiece in the form of a pseudo negate.
If you happen to draw either of the yubel monsters, you can also make phantom with kepler (even one in the GY that is discarded by count surveyor's effect)
- Don't make yubel if that is your only play, obviously
- Not reccommended to make phantom with copernicus
I run 2 copies of throne because I dusted 1 when it got semi-limited (you can choose to run 3)
