Notes & Combos
This is Branded played very mid range. Shout out to SirEmanon, who inspired me with his No-synchro TCG list. I lost a ton of die rolls and got MaxxC/Fuwa a lot, but still won a lot. I maximized consistency and if I can get to a grind game, this deck grinds.
Things I liked:
- Nadir Servant: Second best starter after Branded Fusion, good as an option into hand traps, and works well going second too. (I use my other cards to break their board, and this sets-up for the game).
- Sprigans Kitt is the best starter off of High Spirits, since White Albaz doesn't do much without the synchro.
- Fusion Deployment. Just one copy to not draw multiples. You can search it off Alba Lenatus, which you summon in the basic BraFu combo.
- Shrouded and Sword are required for the BraFu combo, but I didn't want more or Saroneer.
- Only 1 OG Albaz, I didn't want to brick on it, but it did require playing around only having 1 of each. Remember Set Albaz to contact fuse their dragons is huge.
Potential Improvements:
- 3 Forbidden Crown. I think crown is good, but I drew 2 too often. Since I'm above 40, maybe cut one. I prefer Droplet, but since I had to play 3 Opening, I thought it would take too many discards.
- Khaos was a bit win more. It doesn't help if you're not already playing. Proskenian didn't come up too much, but was nice. Flame wingman is great in this format with OG Albaz, but optional. Anaconda doesn't come up often because you get fusion locked quickly. Maybe add N'tss or something for Nadir instead of one.
Final Thoughts: I really wish that Hero's and Man got some hits for the cup. None of the games with them are interesting. Either they go first and FTK you, they brick, or you go first and they lose. I get hitting the Ecclesia synchro, but please get rid of the floodgate turbo decks too. Overall, this deck was pretty consistent at getting into grind games and winning the advantage war. But you need to understand resource management.
