When going second, the main idea is to burn your opponent’s resources with hand traps so they don’t end on an unbreakable board. You can usually play through one or two negates.
Hand trap choices (excluding Maxx “C” and Ash, since they’re self-explanatory): Effect Veiler Mostly for the mirror. Negating Arthalion is huge, and it’s solid overall. Ghost Belle I initially ran it at two just to keep some flexibility, but the more I played, the more I realized how important it is in this format. Easily the MVP. Fuwalos Same idea as Maxx “C”, but in my experience it didn’t resolve as often. And even when it did, most opponents still ended on a board strong enough that I couldn’t really come back.
