Notes & Combos

To say this is the most contentious & difficult Duelist Cup to MAX on would be an understatement. Once again, here Isolde Turn Skip, the only deck up here that's not a 60 card pile of everything. Modifications had to be made from previous successes to maximize engine, and decrease duplicates and dead weight cards at the same time.

Dimensional Fissure: This stops Droll, Droplet (using monsters for cost isn't possible), F&V, Ogre, Veiler, and more. It may seem counterintuitive to banish your own monsters, but only the bamboo equips need to hit the Graveyard. If anything, Renaud could recover a banished Warrior-Type monster in a pinch.

Trap Trick: Keep your toggle on, have a vacant s/t card zone, use it during the Standby Phase to drop Thunder of Ruler and use it during the Standby Phase w/ the Burning Bamboo Sword setup to skip your opponent's turn entirely.

• 3 Thunder of Ruler + 2 Trap Trick = 5 Thunder of Ruler in simplest terms compared to depending on the less than effective Parthian Shot. It was removed from this version due to being more vulnerable to Evenly Matched, Sky Strikers, and Tenpai.

After that, mill Phoenix Gearblade and/or/just other equips from your Main Deck w/ Isolde to bring it back in your hand and double attack for game.

Like usual, effective Turn 0 plays and going second is this deck's worst enemy. It might've been a different case if I was running pile like the others, but the lines are too complicated. Simple is the best.

Thanks for banning Dimension Shifter and making Droll less likely for me to run into.

PS: Don't try playing Stun, it doesn't work well at all even under the best of circumstances. Barrier Statues are vulnerable to attack and being mismatched vs. Sky Striker, Elfnote, etc. Morganite free tribute summons w/ Majesty's Fiend, Vanity's Fiend, Vanity's Ruler is either I don't draw the correct Morganite card, or draw no monsters at all, or both. (Yes, it was fully optimized w/ Solemn Accusation to protect against Imperm, Anchor, F&V, etc.)
