Notes & Combos

I'm finally back posting after a year off MD. Tried out solfa yummy, mitsu and vsk9 but found dracotail the most consistent performance going first and second. It wasn't a super hard grind just took it slow. Matchup wise I saw mainly solfa yummy, odion, mitsu, vsk9 and RT. I barely ever saw the mirror. Nib is pretty underrated rn.

Some quick tips I found for each matchup:

Solfa yummy: they don't play their link 2 solfa card for the main combo now so they don't insulate as well on nib. U should nib after their first pend summon when they place 2 bodies under masq. However, if u want to be risker, alot of solfa players on their 2nd pend summon block their link 3's omni-negate by summoning too many cards. If u think their gonna greed then nib here.

Important: If u have faimena turn 0 a good way to stop them is to destroy their higher pend scale with gulamel or ursula as soon as they commit to masq and 2 scales. This puts them on having surprise + yummy name to continue playing.

Odion: If u have faimena turn 0 use it after they bring out baron with lordly lode at end of main. Crack the backrow or deal with baron.

Mitsu: They sometimes play pretty hard into mysterion, just make sure they don't have prayers or magatama access to dodge it. They usually use all 3 tribute effects so just nib right after.

VSK9: Their pretty bricky at times so stopping the VS stuff with HTs first is usually best. If u have nib + faimena, try to bait out the ripper effect with faimena. Most of the time, they will fall for it.

RT: This deck is also bricky, stopping their first play can be pretty good. If the opponent plays well they usually chain block krosea. Mululu + faimena turn 0 can be very strong at stopping the trap setup or krosea. Chain to fuse on krosea summon or quick play use with link 2 on board. The chain order will have u negate the monster from getting the trap or more cards.
