Notes & Combos

Pretty smooth ride overall. Although, I did this in a span of multiple days. So probably didn't meet the tryhards, since I don't see a lot of VSK9 and Radiant Typhoon. And it's still Dracotail at the end of the days.

The Dracotail

It's more or less standard at this point. Still not sure whether I want 2 or 3 Urgula.

The Regenesis

Regenesis feels really nice with the Dracotail. They return to hand when you do turn-0 play with Faimena, so you don't lose card economy. They're also instant interactions, so they can also be used to break board. And going first, Archfiend always baits Ash/Veiler/Imperm, or else we got an omninegate.

Consistency wise, all of the cards is always online. We always search for Faimena, so we can summon Archfiend. We also always summon Arthalion, so we can summon the other Regenesis. The only possible dead card is Sage, if you draw it alone. But you can go into Seal, and summon Dragon in your opponent's turn. Even if not, Sage is a spellcaster, which is good enough as fusion material that keeps returning to hand.

Never, by any mean, play the spell/trap(s). This is still mainly a Dracotail deck. You don't want spell/trap in your deck, you want monster.

Cartesia

Honestly didn't feel as impactful. But maybe it's because I only had 1. An option maybe adding Cartesia into 2 or 3, and lowering the Urgula and Pan.

Handtraps

Decided to ditch the low-impact handtraps because both Dracotail and Regenesis are decent at breaking board. Purulia is ok, but definitely not more than 2. Droll is a bit of a love-hate relationship. Going second, of course it's very great. And using it for self droll against MaxxC feels even better. But keeping it after going first feels very awkward, because then we can't recycle using our traps.

Extra Decks

The only one that matters are Arthalion, Gulamel, Secreterion, and Seal, also Mysterion very rarely. Didn't summon the other cards I think.
