Notes & Combos
Ended up demoting to Plat last month since I didn't play (grind) enough nor did I play MD while streaming, which was my main time to do so previously (boy, is playing other games more enjoyable).
Per the norm, I'm not sure where I should go with things while being more trap heavy. Soul Drain/IDP are horrible against Odion, but good against other decks. Nib in general isn't the best against the meta, but I still want to keep something that Maxx C can draw into and put more pressure on. I did swap out Strike for Warning since it was annoying to just have Strike popped by Dracotail before I had a chance to use it (plus their spells are all annoying, so having an extra out against Keto and friends is good).
Originally, I was running 40 with 1 Macro and no Purge, but ended up putting in 2 Purge and removing the Macro to add a few extra handtraps. The ED could still use some work. Never used Exciton, and Cularia is fine, but very cuttable.
Biggest issues have been not opening names going first (or one that doesn't "bait" interaction), and just dealing with meta with minimal handtraps. My last 20 games, I went 15-5 in the DC.. but it's late into Stage 1, and jeez, not everyone is the best (or some just bricked on something). If I kept going second against things like Fiendsmith/Orcust or anything Mitsu, it would have taken me much longer without as many wins.
People have been saying that Void Trap Hole is solid into the meta.. but given that it's late Stage 1, I didn't really see Dracotail to encourage me trying it out.
