Notes & Combos

So sometime ago I discovered that oss was still legal in master duel and I wanted to see how well it performs in today's meta. At the time I was in masters, I scrapped one of my older decks and grabbed the fire king cards since I already had most of the snake-eye cards from playing infernoble. During my climb I came to realize that snake-eyes gives fire king the push power to be able to play through multiple hand traps, while fire kings allow you to play under cards like droll, fuwa and maxx c. This deck had an answer to almost everything that was thrown at it; there were however 2 issues I was having, if you did not draw a lingering handtrap, it was almost impossible to play through the ftk boards set up by the meta decks. Now, just like dracotail, we have a going second hand trap in big kirin, however the impact does not compare to faimena. At most you are popping ulcanix while having sacred garunix in hand and hope thats enough to stop some of these decks but it's not. Jurrac offers fire kings that turn 0 play that pushes it to compete with this new meta, being able to have a board wipe on turn 0 is completely game changing. I then went ahead and tested with Jurrac fire kings which was great at making those turn 0 meteors however, going first you have 3 starters, which would be either ponix or ulcanix + a fire for your normals, fire king island/sanctuary + a fire or having both sacred garunix, big kirin + a fire. As you can see fire king by themselves usually cannot play into multiple hand traps and that's what snake-eyes did for it. So during the duelist cup, I decided to use a small Jurrac package inside fire king snake-eyes and it's worked wonderfully, I was able to hit dlv max exteremely fast. You can make a turn 0 meteor with megalo and big kirin, or set one up turn one by popping baby kirin with sacred garunix. You can play into 1-for-1 hand traps using snake eyes. You are able to play into fuwa and maxx c with fire kings. This deck has it all.
