I wanted to challenge myself with pure Nouvelles to show even though Fiendsmith or Mitsurugi may make it better, nothing tastes quite as good as Burger. That being said, Pre-Preparation of Rites for Angry Burger and Hamburger Recipe may not be Habakiri, but it is pretty good, including under Maxx "C"!

Also, it turns out as long as you Going First without a really bad hand, you win most of the time -- Going Second is meanwhile a lot harder without the usual hand-traps or other solutions I ought to be playing. I cut them out as I was really stubborn about being 40 to draw the non-searchable Concours de Cuisine (Culinary Confrontation), which can be useful to respond to stray Fuwalos and Maxx "C" in the Draw Phase, etc, so I am left with 5 non-engine. Going Second vs Dracotail ended very poorly, which happened quite a bit early in my run.

Even for the deck being pure, I wanted a heavy Pendulum Nouvelles count to increase Pendulum opportunities in order to help provide fodder for Nouvelles tributing effects or going into Extra Deck Monsters. About the Extra Deck, Engimaster Packbit was a remnant from an old build, but it should have been D/D/D Wave High King Caesar since it is not unlikely there may be 2 Chef de Nouvelles on the Main Monster Zone on your turn -- its effect is not hard once per turn, just the Chain. The most used are Patissciel Couverture, Dyna Mondo, Herald of the Arc Light, Elder Entity N'ss, Lyrilusc - Ensemblue Robin, and The Pendulum series.

Expanding upon pure, Nouvelles Recipe Book "Recettes de Nouvellez" might not be as appealing to stuff in space for hybrids but the opportunities it creates for simpler tributes, searching out engine pieces for initial deployment, and accruing extra Pendulum/Ritual Monsters in hand for follow-up/Chef is very much appreciated.
