Notes & Combos

Despite this being obviously worse than regular Spright lists, I managed to get up to 16k DP during this duelist cup's 2nd stage with it.

The main gimmick of this deck is to copy norleras' effect with phantom of chaos and use it with nimble angler in hand to extend further. It's a 3-card combo (Beckoning beast + Blue / Jet / Starter + Phantom), so this doesn't happen very often but I managed to pull it off uninterrupted a few times.

Hard summoning Norleras if you drew it is also possible, but it never came up during the grind and starter won't work anymore because of the lock.

Do the Beckoning beast play and link both into Masterking archfiend, then pitch + revive phantom of chaos with spirit gates. Extend further so that you can make Gigantic and summon from the deck Noble Knight's Spearholder, which you can tribute to add Psychic blade. Pay 1500 to equip the blade and then send Norleras to the GY with masterking archfiend. Use both Gigantic and the link 2 to make sprind, send the angler, and recycle it with Herald using both of the summoned nimble. You can send back to the deck what you searched off of blue/jet (depending no what you added last), an additional Manta/Beaver in your hand or any other card. If you don't need to send back what you searched off of Blue/Jet, you can save the last search and use it after you handlooped your opponent.

If the combo doesn't come up, play this like a normal spright deck.

Small World is the reason why I run the bystials and pixies. Most of the deck bridges into each other and it's also very easy to search Maxx "c" with it.

I had trouble deciding what my last ED monster would be and ended up putting Centaurea for zeus lines, but it could be anything else. Ninja mosquito would've helped as putting up enough damage was quite hard at times.

Gamma burst, nib and crossout could also be useful and the reasonable choice probably is to cut down at least 1 Phantom of chaos... or not play the Norleras part of the deck at all. Resolving it is funny though.

Replays

429-939-539 The top 4 replays.

The second one shows a scuffed version of the combo as I drew the noble knight garnet.

The fourth one shows the combo without the angler shuffle because I didn't expect the combo to go through in the first place and didn't want to risk it further.
