Notes & Combos

A classic Floowandereeze decklist, but I can explain my choices. I started in Dlv 5 and made something like 40W - 16L.

I opted for a version with small world, which forces me to play bridges. So veiler bridges between the small birds and ash. The statue bridges between mega-raiza and robina. The statue itself is a pretty good card, almost single-handedly winning the going frist matchup against Kashtira, and with a moon book back up (or a dreaming town) on the opponent's normal summon it wins a turn by preventing the opponent from playing with almost any deck. If I've already got enough to make my combo, I sometimes go for it with small world by banishing raiza or eaglen (both have 1000 DEF).

Two raiza allows you to ban it with small world and is a pretty good way of generating advantage by recycling themself. It also allows you to be more flexible and not have to send the first raiza back into your hand through its own effect.

Originally, I wasn't playing maxx C, just 3 ash and 3 imperm. But I had a phase (dlv 14-15) where I was tagging more than kashtira and mathmech, so I wanted to enter maxx C.

Book of moon is a really good card, it baits negates, and makes skip turn kashtira (book his first monster and he's done). What's more, it provides a way to play around Imperm and Veiler. The card is therefore ultra-versatile in both go frist and go second, and I really recommend it. As for the extra, well .... Yeah, I didn't use it, but phoenix is for managing mp and goddess is for managing towers. But if you have to use the extra, it's almost like you've already lost, so ...

As for what I wasn't playing: I was coming across too many kashtira to play Shifter, not enough deck to justify d.d. crow, and I don't have level 2 blackwing to bridge with max C.

In the end, the version runs well, I haven't had any brick, but some hands are sensitive to hand traps. I recommend testing book of moon and small world with double raiza and statue, as they synergize well.
