I assumed that using other engines(adventurer, hero) hero would harm the original concept of beetrooper since they are definitively not INSECT and most of beetrooper cards force us to use only insect monsters. Comparing to other decks using such cards, they are definitively not competitive with the meta. Using 6 battlewasp cards instead of others were efficient for strong early moves and higher draw values with maxx c.
This deck can be easily countered to any eldlich decktype, so I think you may use cards to prepare them if you want to, but I personally do not like to prepare those matchups, since preparing them would make me huge amount of stress. Instead, I would concentrate on other matchups that are winnable.
