VS is actually pretty decent in this event. The deck no longer revolves so heavily around Razen that him being limited kills it, and burn is a decent secondary wincon with all the half LP squares. However, the best way to build it is probably with more consistency pieces (Small World, Durendal) instead of this nonsense "Turn Zero Turbo". It did still manage a >50% winrate on both sides of the coin, for what that's worth.

The gameplan is that, in addition to the usual VS stuff, Impulse and Phantazmay deep draw for engine, Hop Ear, or each other, while Sue, Pluton, and Uka provide more bodies to Hop Ear off of in addition to their usual duties. This is extremely inconsistent and bricks all the time, but it makes for very dynamic games and a lot of stuff happens when it works. It's also much funnier to me.

Pluton is, shockingly, pretty good here. It's a six for Hop Ear, it's a fire for Jiaolong, it keeps the VS engine online in rough spots, and, believe it or not, it saw use as a 3k beater multiple times.

The list probably needs more dark monsters; a lot of losses were from me opening Sue + a bunch of fires and earths. Uka is the obvious cut because Fusion Parasite bricks up your hand for a mediocre payoff. The smart thing would be to cut it for, I dunno, three Crows and Pantera, but I kept it around because the burn did come up a handful of times and I'm too committed to the turn zero bit to give up another Hop Ear body.

Every single card in the extra won me at least one game except for the Knightmares and, of all things, S:P, who never got summoned. Kuibelt would be Black Rose if I owned it.
