Notes & Combos

This deck seems like it sets up nothing, but setting up a Kairyu-Shin + Jellyfish with an Umi on field + Sea Stealth attack is basically a win against most decks on ranked. A Legendary Ocean alone messes up the Swordsoul combos, because their water token is level 3 on field, and they can't synchro into anything meaningful with it. The three There Can Be Only Ones in this deck are specifically against other water matchups, which I'm facing a lot currently (Marincess can't set up a board because all their monsters are Cyberse, while this deck can still set up Kairyu-Shin + Jellyfish with Mega Fortress Whale under TCBOO). The beautiful and disgusting thing with this deck is that your face-up backrow is immune to destruction removal, because of the protection from Sea Stealth Attack. I also don't play any vanilla, because opening with a Terrorking Salmon for example is just so bad, and you don't need it... Playing the Kaiju is often times bad enough, but it's there for decks that set up a towers, and it's searchable with the Ice Barrier effect from grave.
