Notes & Combos
That...was a journey.
This deck has gone through so many variations this season.
Some tech I tried:
Dogmatika - Too difficult with all the locks
Ishizu - Mostly just for TTH (not recommended)
Shifter - This might be worth further experimentation. Outside of Petal, Rikka stuff doesn't really care about the GY. Sure, Strenna can't retrieve stuff from grave, but she can still activate when being tributed.
In the end, what seemed to work was thinking of the deck as more of a traptrix deck with parallel and shade while using the rikka stuff as extra disruption.
When I tried to make the deck more of a Rikka deck with traptrix disruption it fell apart. Petal is a wonderful NS and if you run her at 3x, then it's hard to justify any other NS.
MVPs:
Konkon. What a phenomenal card. But specifically, I love Mudan. She is a terrific board breaker. And Princess is a close second.
As for the extra deck: Strenna is awesome, but you need some way to tribute her. Hyperyton and Teardrop were much better in more situations.
And of course Sera is Sera.
Be careful: This deck is less consistent and weaker than full-powered Pure Rikka. I think this concept could definitely be improved upon, and it'll probably get better when the new traptrix cards drop.
